After releasing Provoked: A True Story in English, she returned to Bollywood and appeared in the blockbuster Dhoom: 2 (2007). Abhishek Bachchan was a frequent actor as well as the father of Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan. In April 2007 she got married to him. The marriage united two powerful Indian personalities.
